Brands acquired by Nike company

As of November 2008, Nike *, the company has four main subsidiaries: Cole Haan, Hurley International, Converse and Umbro.

* Nike's first acquisition in the company's high-end Cole Haan footwear company in 1988.
* February 2002, Nike bought Hurley Bob Hurley, founder of the international surfing clothing company.
* July 2003, Nike paid 305 million acquisition of Converse Inc., the iconic Charles Taylor's All-Star manufacturers.
* March 3, 2008, the Nike deal sportswear supplier Umbro, known as the England national football team teaching materials manufacturer, said to be worth 285 million pounds (about 600 million U.S. dollars) .
* Other subsidiaries previously owned, was sold to include Bauer Nike Hockey and the Starter.
